Leaving Arizona and heading to Florida. My route takes me through New Mexico and into Texas. I have to say that my first 3 days in Texas have been the windiest days of my entire trip. I rode through some brutal 25 -30MPH crosswinds and several little dust storms blowing across the highway, it is a little unnerving!
My campsite at Ancient Oaks RV Park and Campground, Rockport, Texas. Rockport has a great beach.
I made my way through New Orleans, to Panama City and now I’m in Dunedin Florida.
This is a rough drawing of my route so far:
(In chronological order)
Red: South from Canada and west across the U.S.
Green: South through Mexico
Blue: North through Mexico back to the U.S. (spent 5 months in Mexico)
Pink: Touring around California and Arizona for a couple of months
Brown: East to Florida
Next up is a tour around Florida to the Keys, before I head north back to Canada (If the snow ever melts!).
26,000 Kms so far.
It’s a short ride to Clearwater Beach.
